Tussar Ahimsa silk comes from Assam: it is a raw silk, thicker than Eri, with a slightly rougher hand and a lively, irregular texture you can see even in the photos. It is hand spun, woven on a hand loom and hand printed with carved wooden blocks, using azo free colors.
