Scarf in 85% wool and 15% silk, hand dyed with the tie & dye technique: cobalt blue sunburst on a white ground. Size 70 x 180 cm (28 x 71 in), wide enough to wear as a stole.

White and cobalt blue, the freshest and most timeless color pair, like hand painted ceramics. The fabric is folded and knotted by hand, then dipped in azo free dyes: where the knots are tight the color cannot reach, and when they are untied the sunburst appears. On white, the blue rays stand out crisp and bright, with lighter shades where less dye reached the fabric. It is the easiest to match: it looks great with denim, black, gray and a white shirt. We work directly with the artisans in India, with no middlemen, and visit their workshops in person.
