Scarf in 100% fine wool with a diamond weave, hand printed with wooden blocks: coral pink and sage green floral bouquets on an ivory ground, with green striped borders. Size 70 x 180 cm (28 x 71 in).

It is the only wool scarf in the collection printed with wooden blocks, and also the hardest to make. Wool absorbs dye differently from cotton, and if the block is not pressed with just the right touch the print bleeds: that is why it takes a highly skilled artisan. Each bouquet, framed in a teardrop shape, is printed by hand one at a time, and the sage green striped borders close the design at both ends. The finer, more precious wool has a small diamond weave that you can see up close, which makes it soft and light.
