Scarf in 90% wool and 10% silk, hand woven on a hand loom: vermilion red and orange madras check on a taupe ground. Size 70 x 180 cm (28 x 71 in).

The warmest and liveliest of the four: vermilion red and orange, the most typical colors of Indian madras, cross on a taupe ground that makes them elegant. Like the others it is hand woven on a hand loom, so the check pattern is part of the fabric and does not fade like a print. It brightens a black, navy or gray coat and brings cheer to the coldest days. We work directly with the weavers in India, with no middlemen, and visit their workshops in person.
