Scarf in 90% wool and 10% silk, hand woven on a hand loom: dusty pink, coral and burgundy madras check with gray lines on a light beige ground. Size 70 x 180 cm (28 x 71 in).

Hand woven on a hand loom, every colored line comes from the weaver's hand: that is why the checks have the slight irregularity that makes them feel alive and different from machine-made ones. Pinks and burgundy on a light beige create a soft, romantic look that brightens the face without being loud. It looks great with a gray, camel or navy coat and with cream sweaters. We work directly with the weavers in India, with no middlemen, and visit their workshops in person.
